As fuel shortage, foreign currency shortage and shortage of drugs in public hospitals continues Malawi parliament will have its fourth meeting of the National Assembly in the 52nd Session of Parliament to make a review of the budget meant for these resources which are not available for many Malawians.
In a press release the Mid-Year Budget Review Meeting is set to run from November 9 to December 11, 2026, to assess implementation of the K10.978 trillion 2026/27 National Budget.
Speaker of the National Assembly Sameer Suleman said in the statement statement that the meeting would also consider Bills and other matters of national importance.
This budget to be reviewed was presented by Minister of Finance Joseph Mwanamvekha on February 27, 2026, covers the financial year ending March 31, 2027.
