
Department of Immigration and Citizenship Services has deported 14 foreign nationals to their respective countries for violating immigration laws of Malawi.
Confirming the development Central Region Immigration Office Public Relations Officer Patrick Msume says the deported people comprises seven Bangladesh nationals, five Congolese nationals one Ugandan national and a Nigerian national.
Msume said the Bangladesh and Nigerian nationals were deported through Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe while Congolese and Ugandan nationals were deported through Songwe Border Post in Kalonga.
Recently their have been so many cases involving foreigners who entered the country illegally.
