Opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Secretary General Richard Chimwendo Banda has urged party members to remain united and follow the party’s principles as it seeks to return to power in 2030.
Speaking at a political rally in Ntchisi District, Chimwendo Banda claimed that MCP is the solution to the challenges Malawians are currently facing.
He also announced that the party would soon conduct elections for its committees at both grassroots and regional levels.
Chimwendo Banda further warned that MCP would not tolerate members engaging in abusive politics or acting against the party’s principles, saying such behaviour was undermining the party’s progress and development.
