The Malawi Women’s National Football Team, the Scorchers will open their maiden TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations ( Wafcon) 2026 finals campaign against Nigeria the defending champions on 28 July at Al Madina Stadium in Rabat.
This follows the release of the fixtures of the rescheduled Wafcon finals, which will run from July 25 to August 16 in North African Country Morocco.
The Scorchers who are in Group C , will face Egypt in the second match on August 1 at Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat, Morocco and will wrapp up their group stage games against Zambia at Al Madina Stadium on 5th August 2026.
Two teams from each group will qualify for the quarterfinals. Scorchers will make its first appearance at the Wafcon finals.
