Steven Baba Malondera who is the Chairperson for the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament in Malawi has been elected as Chairperson for the African Organisation of Public Accounts Committees (AFROPAC).
Malondera has been announced as Chairperson elect at the 2026 African Organisation of Public Accounts Committees (AFROPAC) Conference taking place in Accra, Ghana.
The conference was presided over by the Speaker of Parliament of Ghana Rt. Hon. Alban S. K. Bagbin.
Speaking at the Conference Bagbin has called for stronger collaboration among Public Accounts Committees (PACs) across Africa to promote transparency, accountability and effective parliamentary oversight.
