Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed five Malawian match officials to officiate in the preliminary round of the 2026/27 CAF Interclub competitions of CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.
On 5 September 2026 at Estádio 11 de Novembro in Luanda, Angola, Easter Zimba will be the centre referee for the CAF Confederation Cup match between Una FC of Namibia and Kabuscorp de Palanca of Angola.
Zimba will be assisted by Samuel Fudzulani as first Assistant Referee (linesman)and Lameck Mbuluma Phiri as second Assistant Referee (linesman), while David Chinoko has been appointed to be the Fourth Official.
In another appointment, on 10 September 2026 at Estádio Nacional da Tundavala in Lubango, Angola, David Chinoko will be the centre referee for the CAF Champions League match between Foresters FC of Seychelles and Wiliete de Benguela of Angola.
Chinoko will be assisted by Samuel Fudzulani as first Assistant Referee and Sibusiso Sibongire Sibande as the second Assistant Referee , while Easter Zimba will serve as the Fourth Official.
