Vice President Dr. Jane Ansah has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Malawians after accepting her appointment to the G100 Presidential Advisory Council, describing it as both a great honour and a recognition of Malawi’s growing contribution to global leadership.

In a statement shared on her Facebook page, Dr. Ansah said she was “deeply honoured and humbled” to join the distinguished global platform of women leaders dedicated to advancing leadership, gender equality, and international collaboration.

She said she accepted the appointment not as a personal achievement alone, but as recognition of Malawi and the country’s immense potential to contribute meaningfully to global conversations on inclusive leadership and sustainable development.

Dr. Ansah added that the appointment would inspire her to continue serving with integrity, humility, and dedication while championing the empowerment of women and girls, strengthening institutions, and fostering partnerships that create opportunities for all.

The Vice President also expressed gratitude to God, her family, colleagues, and the people of Malawi for their unwavering support throughout her journey.

She concluded by calling on Malawians to continue working together towards a future where leadership is guided by service, justice, and hope.
