Malawi President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has delegated Second Vice President Rt. Hon. Enock Chihana to represent Malawi at the 46th Ordinary SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government, scheduled for 17 August 2026 in Durban, South Africa.
Foreign Affairs Minister George Chaponda has confirmed that Chihana will attend the summit on behalf of President Mutharika.
Chihana is expected to depart for South Africa this morning through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in Lilongwe.
