Cables can confidently reveal that another KingBossi employee, based in Chipata, Zambia, has been implicated in the US$1.1 million cash seizure involving two Tanzanian nationals that took place on 1 July 2026 in Rumphi, Malawi .

According to information obtained by Cables, Shadreck Banda, who works for KingBossi in Chipata, Zambia, has been mentioned as the person who handed over the US$1.1 million in cash to the two Tanzanian nationals, who remain in custody in Malawi’s Mzuzu Prison.

The development comes after KingBossi Chief Executive Officer in Malawi Siza Ngomero was also implicated in connection with the seized cash.

The money was confiscated from two KingBossi-Zofa employees in Malawi , Paschal Francis Nyanda, holder of Tanzanian Passport No. TAE 452573, and Elias Donald Sanda, holder of Tanzanian Passport No. TAE 931091.

According to the suspects, the money which was obtained from Shadreck Banda who works with Kingbossi-Chipata was to be deposited in Tanzania at another Kingbossi account .

The reasons why the money could not be deposited in Kingbossi Accounts either in Malawi or Zambia remains unclear.

The two suspects are facing money laundering related charges and are currently remanded at Mzuzu Prison, pending proceedings before the Financial Crimes Division of the High Court in Lilongwe.

Cables understands that the suspects have not yet been transferred to Maula Prison in Lilongwe, which is closer to the High Court where the matter is expected to be heard.

Sources indicate that the delay is reportedly due to logistical challenges involving the agencies responsible for the transfer and custody of the suspects.

When contacted about the development, Malawi police denied to give more details stating that the matter is still under investigation and in court .
