As dust fails to settle on the relationship between President Peter Arthur Mutharika and his first vice president Jane Ansah, Enoch Chihana second vice president will represent president Mutharika as guest of honour at this year’s Jere Ngoni people of Mzimba Umthetho Cultural Festival.
According to Khumbo Soko, Secretary General of Mzimba Heritage Association the commemoration of this year’s festival will begin tomorrow with climax on Saturday 8th August 2026 at the foot of Hola mountain in Mzimba.
He said delegates will start arriving tomorrow at the venue where they will be celebrating under the theme “Mzimba United for Land Preservation and Sustainable Development”.
