In just 2 hours from now final buses carrying Malawians affected by xenophobic attacks will depart Malawi Embassies in Johannesburg and Pretoria in South Africa.
According to Department of Disaster Management Affairs the final buses will leave South Africa at 12:00 o’clock today 12th August 2026.
DoDMA has advised Malawians who will remain in South Africa that they have to find their own means of transport if they want to come home after this exercise.
According to released figures over 56, 000 Malawians have already brought back home.
