The body of Miss Malawi founder Carver Bhima will be laid to rest on Friday at his family home in Chigumula, Blantyre, his family has said.
According to his daughter-in-law Nasrin Pillane-Bhima, Bhima died on Tuesday evening after being taken to LMJ Clinic.
“He complained of not feeling too well and he was taken to the hospital where unfortunately he died,” she said.
She added that as a family they have lost a great person as he was an ever present parent who believed in communication at all levels.
The late Bhima hailed from Masala village in Chiradzulu District where he grew up before relocating to Blantyre.
