
Founder and leader of Salvation for All Ministries International Apostle Clifford Kawinga has launched a K25 billion Agriculture Investment Plan to be roll out in 5 years to reach 1.5 million smallholder irrigation farmers across the country to improve food security.
Apostle Clifford Kawinga announced this today in Mchinji during the official opening of Ministry’s Hope Field Initiative (HFI) Agricultural Produce Market, expected to offer reliable markets for farmers and promoting sustainable livelihoods.
Apostle Kawinga said K5 billion will be injected each year to establish 60, 000 farmers as a part of efforts to reinforce agricultural transformation, food security and economic empowerment.
Nathan Washington a patron for Chisomo farmers club has commended the new market saying it has already empowered farmers after selling 1, 300 bags of maize to Apostle Kawinga at K1000 per kilogram surpassing government price, with a total purchasing value of K65 million.
