It’s tough and interesting weekend as Airtel top 8 quarterfinals matches are back with second leg games.
One of the interesting game will be played at Mpira Stadium on Saturday between Ekhaya FC and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets on as first leg game ended in 1-all draw. Bullets who are defending champions is looking for a win in order to defend the cup as Ekhaya FC who are playing in the cup for the first time are looking for a win to make history for beating the defending champions.
On the same day at Civo stadium there will be another encounter as Civo Service United will be facing Blue Eagles FC who won the trophy in 2018. The match between the two sides ended goalless in the first leg played at Nankhaka stadium last month.
On Sunday two giants Mighty Wanderers and Silver Strikers will be playing their games away from home as Wanderers will be in Mchinji playing Creck SC at Aubrey Dimba Stadium while the Bankers will be hosted by Kalonga United at Kalonga stadium.
Wanderers and Silver Strikers won their first leg matches 2 – 0 each against their opponents Creck SC and Kalonga United respectively.
Winners in all these matches will progress to the semifinals to be played next month.
