Mighty Wanderers FC has announced that it has appointed its Assistant Coach Mcdonald Mtetemera to be the Acting Head Coach with immediate effect.
In a statement signed by Board Secretary for Mighty Wanderers Chancy Gondwe says that the club’s Board has decided to appoint Mtetemera to take the charge of the team as Acting Head Coach, following suspension of its head coach Bob Mpinganjira on Sunday evening.
The statement has asked all the stakeholders to render their support to Mtetemera and its technical panel.
The statement does not provide any changes in the technical panel apart from Mtetemera’s appointment.
Bob Mpinganjira was suspended following team’s loss to Ekhaya FC in the finals of Airtel Top 8 match at Bingu National Stadium.
Mtetemera is expected to lead the Lalilubani side in their CAF Champions League match against Simba Sporting Club of Tanzania this coming Sunday at Bingu National Stadium.
