Malawi’s Vice President, Dr Jane Mayemu Ansah, has been appointed to the G100 Presidential Advisory Council, a prestigious global body comprising some of the world’s most influential women leaders, marking another significant milestone in her distinguished career and elevating Malawi’s profile on the international stage.
The appointment was announced this week on the G100 official website, where Dr Ansah is listed among eminent global leaders serving on the Council.

A retired Justice of Appeal and Senior Counsel, Dr Ansah has served in several high-profile positions, including Attorney General of Malawi, Justice of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Chairperson of the Malawi Electoral Commission, and President of the Electoral Commissions Forum of SADC (ECF-SADC).
She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Malawi, a Master of Laws in International Human Rights, and a PhD in International Human Rights from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.
Beyond her legal and political career, Dr Ansah is an accomplished author whose publications focus on constitutional law, human rights, and legal development. She also serves as National Overseer of Christ Citadel International Church.
