
National Registration Bureau has announced that national birth registration for children under 16 years campaign for phase 3 will start on July 8 up to July 17, 2026.
According to the released statement the exercise will be done in Mzuzu City, Mzimba North, Lilongwe City and Lilongwe Rural West and will be conducted in all government primary schools in these district who are in phase 3.
The statement further urged parents and guardians to bring with them their national ID when coming to the registration centre where they will be registering their children under 16 years for their birth certificate and requested them to take their children who have reach 16 years to report to the Teachers Development Centres (TDC) for National ID registration and the child must come with parents or guardian with National ID as witness.
