Cables can confirm that Funds from the Public Service Pension Trust Fund (PSPTF) were deposited into account number 1010354548, held by Yusuf Investments Limited, owners of Amaryllis Hotel, at the National Bank of Malawi.

As reported earlier , several large transactions were made from this account 1010354548 belonging Amarylis hotel owners by few individuals.

Despite that National Bank does not want to give details of who made such withdraws with the bank from the account which got billions of tax payers money .

The following withdrawals were made from this account:

  • Charles Gibson Nankhuni withdrew a total of K3.5 billion between 23 and 28 January 2026 from account 1010354548
  • Charles Nankhuni is reported to have carried out some of the largest withdrawals, including MK1.5 billion in a single transaction.
  • Mark Kaliati withdrew K167 million on 27 January 2026, and a further K665 million — comprising K265 million on 17 February 2026 and K400 million on 6 March 2026.
  • Aisha Aubi withdrew over K100 million on 27 January 2026, with portions reportedly deposited into Food Lover’s Market and Centenary Services Fuel accounts.
  • Rashid Alli withdrew a total of K350 million — K250 million on 19 February 2026 and K100 million on 24 February 2026.

  • Fabian Chibule withdrew K10 million in February 2026, reportedly deposited into an account linked to LMJ Hospital.
  • Jackson Phiri withdrew K10 million around 28 January 2026.

If there is genuine commitment to establishing the truth, tracing where these funds went after withdrawal should provide clear answers.
