‘Safe Keeper’ : Prime Time CEO Laundering Money Globally For Crooked Politicians, Businessmen

Late in 2025, cables reported that Prime Time was involved in the sale of high-end vehicles, with claims that one of the beneficiaries of some of these deals was Nick Chakwera, son of former President Lazarus Chakwera. And the business was operating from Crossroads Hotel .

After the September 2025 elections defeat of Malawi Congress Party , cables reported that some of the vehicles were moved to Zambia for safety.

Now fast forward to 2026, cables can confidently reveal that Mr. Jonathan Kaunda, CEO of Prime Time is the new untouchable in town , he is facilitating financial transactions for influential individuals, business men and politicians.

He has been code named “ The Safe Keeper” by those he is dealing with .

According to cables insiders , individuals seeking access to funds in different countries , anywhere in the world can approach Jonathan, who is said to arrange such transactions without any problem but for a fee.He gets 20% of the total funds , more than the biblical 10% tithe .

Since opening Prime Time, the company is alleged to have sold vehicles worth more than MK40 billion.

But according to cables , he has paid peanuts in taxes on these transactions.

According to sources, he is tasked to keeping clients’ money, invest it in vehicles, and provide agreed monthly returns. The Safe Keeper of the shady deals in Malawi .

However, some investors have recently complained that he has not been faithful to the terms of their arrangements and have brought their concerns to cables . There is no honor among the thieves .

One of the major investors being mentioned apart from Nick Chakwera is Mr. Azmi Jawad, CRO of Adla Construction.

According to cables , Mr. Jawad, who is associated with major construction projects in the city, allegedly works with Prime Time in financial arrangements intended to reduce tax exposure and legitimize undeclared funds.

Cables can challenge the financial intelligence authority, fiscal police and Malawi revenue to do their independent verification, shocking revelations will be made , but guess what , nothing will have as all of them will end up captured in the web of the safe keeper.
