Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr Richard Chakupaleza Chikoko Luhanga on June 2, 2026, hosted Ms. Leigh Stubblefield, British High Commissioner to Malawi, on a courtesy call at the National Police Headquarters in Lilongwe.
The visit forms part of ongoing engagements between the Malawi Police Service (MPS) and key stakeholders with an interest in policing and public safety matters.
During the meeting, the two officials exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and discussed areas of engagement relevant to the work of the MPS.
IGP Luhanga thanked Ms. Stubblefield for the visit and reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to maintaining constructive relationships that contribute to effective policing and service delivery.
