Out of K1.8 billion distributed to the artists in the Blank Media Levy the Music industry has topped the list with K1 billion followed by Literary Works which received K519 million and Film industry pockets K259 million.
2795 musicians have been listed to benefit with 24160 works , as film industry have 177 beneficiaries with 294 works receiving royalties and Literary works have 622 beneficiaries with 1124 works bringing the number of beneficiaries to 3594 with 25,578 works receiving the royalties which have been calculated from April 2025 to March 2026.
