Mighty Wanderers forward Lameck Mithi has been named FDH Bank Premiership Player of the Month for May 2026 after an outstanding performances that helped inspire his side during the opening weeks of the season.
Mithi beat two other players who were listed for the award that’s Silver Striker’s Ernest Petro and Blue Eagles’s Webster Nzunda to claim the monthly accolade.
The forward enjoyed an impressive month of May having featured in all six league matches for his club and scored five goals.
He is also a second player this season to register a hat-trick and earned one Man of the Match award following his best displays.
His goals and consistency have been instrumental in Mighty Wanderers’ strong start to the campaign, that helped him to earn first Player of the Month award of the season.
