Member of Parliament for Ntcheu West, Norman Chisale, has donated 18 bicycles to teachers at Kutha kwa Anasi Primary School under Senior Chief Makwangwala in Ntcheu District as part of efforts to improve access to education.
The donation also included 5,000 exercise books, chalk, U-Fresh soap for 1,800 learners, and bags of maize flour aimed at supporting both learning and student welfare at the school.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, Chisale said his development agenda focuses on improving key sectors such as education, health, and food security across his constituency.
He said he is determined to ensure that within the next five years, no resident in the area should continue facing challenges that can be addressed through community support and development initiatives.
Senior Chief Makwangwala commended the legislator for the assistance, expressing optimism that the interventions will help transform livelihoods and reduce hardships in the area.
