Zamba, Gwengwe, Kawale Linked to Payment of MK 750 Million To Fake Suppliers

Cables can exclusively that Malawi’s ex-Cabinet ministers Sam Kawale and Sosten Gwengwe, including former Ministers Sam Kawale and Sosten Gwengwe, plus former SPC Colleen Zamba, are in custody following a joint investigation by the Anti-Corruption Bureau and Fiscal Police.

Fiscal Police and the Anti Corruption Bureau are probing alleged payments, like K750 million to a UK-based butchery for undelivered fertiliser, and East Bridge’s billions in government funds for tobacco purchases from local farmers.
