Mighty Wanderers has announced that it has suspended its head coach Bob Mpinganjira with immediate effect barely hours after losing Airtel Top 8 finals.
In a press statement signed by Chancy Gondwe Mighty Wanderers Board Secretary the club will announce new interim Head Coach and other technical panel changes within the next two days.
Mighty Wanderers lost 2 – 1 against Ekhaya FC at Bingu National Stadium on Sunday and is expected to play against Simba Sporting Club on 6th September at the same venue in first leg encounter of Preliminary round of CAF Champions League.
Wanderers struggles in its play despite Head Coach Bob Mpinganjira spent much of the off season period in United Kingdom where he went for coaching attachments to learn modern football techniques.
Currently Wanderers is on second position in FDH Bank Premiership with 29 points having played 14 matches.
