Nankhaka stadium home for Police Side from Area 30 outfit Blue Eagles FC has been cleared by Football Association of Malawi certifying it to host elite football matches.
In a letter released by Football Association of Malawi on 15th June 2026 FAM says it re-inspected the stadium through its First Instance Body (FIB) under its Licencing Department.
FAM says the certification comes after the stadium authorities completed corrective measures that we recommended during the initial inspection.
After this approval Nankhaka stadium will be allowed to host all elite matches organised by the Football Association of Malawi and Super League of Malawi and Blue Eagles will have options of taking its matches to be played at this venue now.
Currently Kamuzu Stadium and Mzuzu stadium are still waiting to be approved as they have failed to reach other requirements during the initial inspection earlier this year.
The letter concluded with an assurance that the football mother body will ensure that football facilities are meeting the required standards for safety, organisation, and competition delivery
