Mutharika Storms Lomwe Belt, Assures Malawians of Victory Come Elections

On a whirlwind campaign trail through Mulanje, Phalombe, and Chiradzulu districts today, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika reaffirmed his commitment to restoring hope for Malawians. At every stop—planned and unplanned—the resounding message was clear: life has become unbearable, and citizens are ready to #ReturnToProvenLeadership.

“This is the year, Malawians,” Mutharika declared. “Together, we will turn back the hands of time and restore the benefits of tried, tested, and proven leadership.”

He urged those who haven’t yet registered to do so as per regulations, while calling on former DPP members to return to the fold and join the effort to secure victory and rebuild the nation. “Makomo a DPP ndi otsegula” (The doors of the DPP are open).

Mutharika expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Mulanje, Phalombe, and Chiradzulu for coming out in large numbers and recommitting to the cause of proven leadership.

As the campaign gathers momentum, the call to rebuild and restore Malawi continues to inspire hope across the nation.
