
Mangochi, Malawi – His Excellency, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, President of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), hosted Members of Parliament (MPs) from the party at his Page House residence in Mangochi District yesterday.
The meeting was led by the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Honourable Dr. George Chaponda, MP, and formed part of the DPP’s regular parliamentary caucuses. These sessions are held periodically during parliamentary sittings to evaluate legislative progress and strategize on key parliamentary matters.
Among the senior party officials in attendance were DPP Vice Presidents for the Southern and Eastern Regions, Honourable Joseph Mwanamvekha and Honourable Bright Msaka. The gathering also included Honourable Kamlepo Kalua, who recently joined the party, marking his growing involvement in DPP activities.
