Musician Dan Lufani has lost 8,000 fans in two days ,following the release of his song which is praising outgoing President Lazarus Chakwera , at a time that Malawians are suffering .

Before the release of the song , Dan Lu had 425K followers on his Facebook page .

However , two days after the release of the song , Dan Lu followers on Facebook are standing at 417K, a drop with 8K followers . Just two days after his praise song for outgoing President Chakwera .

Malawians are suffering in poverty , there are no drugs in hospitals, for the first time citizens are eating Chitedze(Buffalo beans ) for lack of maize , economy is in mess ; unemployment levels have gone up and corruption is the order of the day .
