Wife to former vice president, late Saulosi Chilima is reportedly not happy with the way the organizing committee of the SKC Foundation launch has invited state president Lazarus Chakwera without informing her.
A close family member confided to Cables that Mrs Chilima only learnt about the president’s invitation from the news outlets which took her by surprise as she did not sanction the attendance of the first couple.
“The way Statehouse has handled the invitation of President Chakwera is suspicious. Mary [Chilima] is not amused that politics is now taking over the launch”, said our source.
Chilima’s family is still not convinced that Saulosi Chilima’s death was an accident hence Mrs Chilima’s reservations on having people who are suspected to have played a role in her husband’s death attend the launch.
