Centenary Bank Opens a Branch in Mchinji

Centenary Bank of Malawi has opened its sixteenth branch in Mchinji district, with a commitment to promote financial inclusion.

According to the bank’s managing director Godfrey Byekwaso , the opening of the branch, comes with a commitment to financial inclusion, drive economic growth and empower communities across the country.

He further made a pledge to work closely with the government to ensure that the people of Mchinji and surrounding areas benefit from its services.

“This initiative demonstrates our dedication to supporting the people of Malawi, we believe that financial inclusion is key to unlocking economic growth and prosperity.” Byekwaso said.

Minister of Gender, community development and social welfare,Jean Sendeza commended Centenary Bank for its efforts in promoting financial inclusion, particularly among women and marginalized groups.
