Arming MCP militia to reign terror on the opposition

The Malawi Police Service is embroiled in an arms deal worth close to MK12 billion which Cables understand is aimed at arming outgoing Malawi Congress Party militia to reign terror on the opposition ahead of the September 2025 tripartite elections.

According to the documents in our posession, money amounting to USD6.4 million was transfered from account number 1 to Israel Weapon Industries Ltd, through Bank Leumi Leisrael on 20th June, 2023.

According to higly placed sources at area 30, some of the weapons have started arriving in the country.

“Some of the weapons have arrived in the country and have been given to some officers who are being sent on what the Malawi Police Service is calling it special operations”, revealed our source.

Cables investgations have found names of officers who are on the said special operations and most of them are from the central region and underwent special operations training at Matakata Police training school while some were sent to israel on the pretext of VVIP security training.

MCP has deployed bloody tactics targeting government critics and the opposition.

Cables understand that a taskforce that is being headed by Retired Brigadier General Kalumo, and has Inspector General of Police and Ken Zikhale as some of the members is the one implementing the plan with blessings from State House.
