There is jubilation within the corridors of MBC following news that the board of directors have not renewed the contract of one Mrs Zilani Khonje, who was the Director of News and Programs.

To many at MBC, Zilani Khonje was the most empty-headed Director of News and Programs to have ever walked the corridors of MBC. She leaves the institution with nothing to show for, but a pile of disciplinary reports from her subordinates and gossip as her major achievement.

The excitement has extended beyond the News and Programs department. Even those in the commercial and engineering where her arrogance and uncontrollable mouth diarrhea was a matter of general concern.

She has presided over the worst period in as far as news and programs delivery was concerned.

This extends to the live broadcast of presidential functions. This was mainly due to the fact that Zilani victimised alot of staff based on miseche.
