PENSION FUNDS: WHERE IS THE PEOPLES MONEY NOT REMITTED TO ZAMARA?

Cables ! Is pension Fund a scam initiated by the government to steal from its own people ?

A serious concern has emerged regarding missing pension funds for civil servants. While some are failing to access their money , others are failing to access medical care as their money has vanished .

One victim worked from 2004 to 2017, before the contributory pension scheme was introduced.

In 2017, a new system began, and contributions were directed to Zamara. When she asked about the pension she had built up over those 13 years, she was assured that her pre-2017 benefits would be transferred and properly accounted for.

Now, due to declining health, she is being forced to retire on medical grounds.

Shockingly, she has been informed that her total payout is only 2 million kwacha.

The pension contributions from her 13 years of service before 2017 are nowhere to be seen or explained.

This raises urgent and troubling questions:

  1. Where is the money contributed before 2017?
    2.Was it ever transferred?
2.Who is accountable for these missing funds?

There are many similar cases, with pensioners left confused, frustrated, and financially vulnerable.

These are individuals who dedicated years of service and are now being denied the security they worked for.

At the same time, we see large scale payments made for the purchase of Amaryllis Hotel , billions stolen in the process, while the rightful owners of pension funds are left struggling.

This is not just one case , it is a systemic issue that demands transparency and accountability.

Justice for pensioners must be served .Cables will dig deeper and expose this theft of people’s hard earned money .
