Immediate past President Lazarus Chakwera has has warned the DPP government not to take his calmness for granted.
He emphasized that while he is a peace loving leader, his silence should not be mistaken for weakness.
“Musanditengele kumtosos”.He explained that his decision to remain quiet has been driven by his commitment to maintaining peace, not because he is incapable of responding.
He cautioned that if the continued provocation persists, he will be forced to act.
He made these remarks today at his home in Malembo where he was attending the funeral of Sub/TA Malembo who passed on few days ago.
It is not clear as to what the ruling party has done to the former president Chakwera to make such remarks with strong tone .
Few years ago , Chakwera promised bloodshed and he exactly did that after the 2019 elections ,he planned a soft coup using the Judiciary which helped him to oust President Mutharika using the 2020 fresh elections.
His words should not be taken lightly, Chakwera is cooking something sinister against the DPP regime.
There is no immediate comment from ruling DPP.
