Broke outgoing Malawi Congress Party government has obtained an injunction against contractors who want to take control of toll gates , as a way to force government to pay them billions which Malawi Congress Party is owing them.

And the worst thing is that Mcp government has exorbitant and huge debts currently and no room for extra borrowing from local commercial banks in Malawi , a development which has left the contractors with no option but get the toll gates and collect money to pay themselves .

As it stands, outgoing Malawi Congress Py can only borrow money from foreign banks and international organizations.

As we write this , MCP is under panic now of public purse status.World Bank has reported that the current budget deficit in Malawi is highest in Africa .

Chakwera has messed the Malawi economy and failed to practice fiscal discipline for the past four years .
