93 out of 100 Malawians are feeling that outgoing President, Lazarus Chakwera is the most corrupt leader in the history . This is according to a survey that has been conducted .

Chakwera and his close associates have been entangled in corruption and corrupt deals with nothing being done against his close men by the Anti Corruption Bureau, Law enforcement agencies and the Civil Society organizations despite overwhelming evidence of wrong doing .

In the four years and four months of his Presidency, Lazarus Chakwera has been in scandals and shoddy deals which were aimed at stealing funds from the Malawi government.

Some ministers and close associates were named in Sattar corruption scandal but no one has been brought to book since the scandal was brought to the limelight .

There is a fertilizer scandal where his government paid money to a butcher and pharmacy in German for the supply of fertilizer to the Malawi government. As that is not enough , another scandal in the name of Bridgin Foundation emerged where billions were to be lost from the government’ account number 1.

That’s not all , his close associates were also mentioned in a Nocma fuel importation deal where corruption was at center stage . As usual all those implicated are still serving Chakwera and conducting more corrupt practices todate and nothing has been done to stop the acts aimed at stealing tax payers money .

The latest scandals on fertilizer and fuel deals have been brought to light by investigator magazine, with revelations that MK 1.4 trillion was to be lost in the strange fake deal which has implicated Chakwera’s head of Civil service Colleen Zamba and minister of transport Jacob Hara .

In the wake of all these , Chakwera is seen doing nothing as a leader . Leaving Malawians with no choice but conclude that he is the most corrupt creature in his own regime .
